History of our College
Cardinal Griffin Catholic College is a Roman Catholic Comprehensive School for boys and girls and in the trusteeship of the Archdiocese of Birmingham and an affiliated school with The Society of Jesus (the Jesuits).
It was founded 1960 and opened on the 1st September with just 20 pupils!
Like all Jesuit schools, its aim is to provide a sound, intellectual and technological formation, not as an end in itself but as an aid to the fullest possible development of each individual student.
